Paul 'DJ Pauly D' DelVecchio revealed that he was hospitalized due to a ruptured hemorrhoid on Thursday's episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation on MTV.
The 43-year-old reality star during the season seven episode titled 'Ronnie, Sammi and Justin' spotted the show's medical staff during a group dinner in Tucson, Arizona.
'That's the medic?,' Pauly said.
'I guess so,' answered Vinny Guadagnino, 36.
'A lot of respect for those guys after I almost died,' Pauly said.

'Oh, did they come in?,' Vinny asked.
'Yeah,' Pauly said as the show rewound to three weeks earlier.
Pauly was shown in Nashville sitting in front of a green screen while filming a confessional with a producer in which he was making fun of Vinny.
'This chooch brought his jump rope on stage,' Pauly said before wincing.
Pauly then slowly got off the chair and bent over in pain.
'I've got to take a break. I'm feeling dizzy,' Pauly said.
He asked the producer for crackers or snacks from craft services.
'I don't feel well. I don't feel well,' Pauly said.

The show rewound to three weeks earlier when the crew was in Nashville
'I don't feel well. I don't feel well,' Pauly said
'Dude, I'm so sorry,' the producer said.
Pauly started wheezing and the producer asked if he wanted to go outside for some fresh air.
'I can't breathe,' Pauly said off-camera while gasping for air.
A producer said he was going to call 9-1-1 and Pauly was next seen in a confessional.
'You're telling them about your health issues in Nashville,' the producer said. 'Walk me through what happened.'
'Yeah, so, in Nashville, I had a little problem where I had a hemorrhoid that kind of, like, ruptured and it was bleeding throughout the night. And then it was bleeding so bad that I lost so much blood that I actually fainted,' Pauly said.
'So I had to get rushed to the hospital, and they had to give me a blood transfusion and then sew that up. And it was pretty gnarly. And I'm very grateful and thankful for Nikki. She was by my side, she flew to Nashville, and she helped me out during this whole process. It was a scary thing,' Pauly said of his girlfriend Nikki Hall.
The show then fast-forwarded to the group arriving for dinner in Tucson and Vinny told Pauly that he looked 'like a million dollars now'.
