A magician on Britain's Got Talent left Simon Cowell gobsmacked when he reunited the star with the exact sports car he owned three decades ago.

In scenes set to air this Sunday, Trixy - who is an electrical engineer and father of two - vows to create a 'magical moment in time'.

The magician borrows newest BGT judge Bruno Tonioli's watch and begins the jaw-dropping trick, using 50 photographs from throughout Simon's life.

Trixy shows a snap of the vintage red car, a 1971 Triumph TR6, and Simon admits: 'That's one of my favourite ever cars' - shortly before the magical reunion.

The media mogul is then taken outside the London Palladium theatre where he is reunited with the sporty motor, which is awaiting him on the red carpet. Simon is visibly stunned, and so delighted that he kisses the bonnet of the vehicle.

The scenes which will air on Sunday's show as the Britain's Got Talent audition rounds continue on ITV1, with acts vying for a place in the live semi-finals.

Back in May, car enthusiast Simon unveiled his £230,000 fleet of electric vehicles, when he posted a photograph of himself to him posing on an E-bike alongside his automobile collection.

The Britain's Got Talent judge revealed all of the fun names he's given to his electric vehicles, in the caption alongside.

Simon penned: 'Please meet (from left to right) Buzz, Mouse and Flea and my bike called Spitz. All are electric, including my bike. And all are brilliant to drive/ride!'

Simon's mint green all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz, which has a range of up to 258 miles, retails from £59,035.00 to £63,835.00 depending on specification.
