Where are all her famous friends? Julie Bishop arrives to Australian Fashion ... trends now

She made a grand entrance at Australian Fashion Week on Monday in a feather dress and Dior heels.

But Julie Bishop appeared a little awkward as she took in Day 1 of the event.

The 'Minister of Fashion', 67, was spotted sitting alone in the front row of the Viktoria & Woods Show at Carriageworks in Sydney after arriving solo.

Guests sitting either side of the former foreign minister appeared engrossed in their own conversations as she shuffled in her seat, pulling faces and expressing her opinions on different outfits displayed on the catwalk.

Ms. Bishop found a friend outside, and was spotted chatting with former editor-in-chief of Harper's BAZAAR Kellie Hush.

Ms. Bishop, who was not joined by her new beau Stephen Gray, appeared to make an outfit change during the event, swapping out her $2,000 feathery black Rachel Gilbert dress with a brown coat, black turtleneck and slacks.

However, she continued to flaunt her $4,000 worth of designer accessories as she strutted her stuff down the street.

The ex deputy leader of the Liberal Party looked effortlessly chic ahead of the first runway show that morning as she toted a $2,900 Louis Vuitton handbag and $1,490 Dior pumps.
