Shark Tank hopeful Kjetil Hansen scores $300k investment

He's the Shark Tank hopeful who scored a $300,000 investment for his bacon-flavoured vegetarian seasoning.

But Kjetil Hansen revealed he was previously thrown out of his local supermarket after handing out free samples of the product to shoppers.

Speaking to news.com.au, the enterprising 26-year-old revealed that he had been offering samples and conducting surveys about his bright idea until security intervened.

'I handed out surveys at the supermarket until the security guard threw me off the grounds,' he said.

 He added that the survey results cemented his suspicions that he was onto a winner with his idea.

'The average score was 4.9 out of five. That was the final call, when I saw the response, I said, "okay, I just have to do this,' he told the publication.
