Controversial: Danielle Lloyd has sparked furious backlash after sharing a snap of a 'very cute' babygro with 'Donald Trump' written on it
Mother-of-three Danielle, who is due to give birth in August, shared the photo of the white babygro with the words 'Donald Trump Jnr' on it on Saturday.
She captioned the snap: 'Thanks to @oh_arthur for making this very cute baby grow! George is very happy as he is wanting to call the baby @realdonaldtrump.'
Her followers dubbed the photo 'sickening' and and asked why she would want the name of a 'psychopath' to be emblazoned across the front of her child's clothes.
Many also hit back at her claims that it was a 'joke' explaining that it was about 'basic human dignity' not 'politics'.
Debate: The pregnant reality star joked that her four-year-old son George is 'very happy' as he wants her imminent fourth child to be named after the controversial US president
Defending herself: As viewers slammed her controversial photo, Danielle lashed out, insisting the babygro was a 'joke'. 'Shame on me! It's a joke my 3 year old son likes the name Trump no shame here!' she wrote furiously
Not impressed: But her horrified followers branded the move 'sickening' and 'classless' - with many accusing her of 'supporting racism and sexism' by tagging Trump in the caption
'He's a racist please don't let your child wear that!!... Tf is wrong with u abahaha... Unfortunately it's not a funny joke. Nothing about that man is funny & the awful things he says & does should not be made light off. Please next time pick your jokes a little more carefully... Don't think it's funny...The actual Donald Trump causes a lot of pain and suffering for families and children. Some "jokes" should be private... choosing to support racism and sexism shouldn't be respected...
'Racism and sexism isn't a joke to those affected by them. If you like the hurt he has caused and think it is funny, you need evaluation... And to tag Donald Trump? I've always supported you, but now I see you don't have any love for me and my family who are being hurt by this person.
'It's very sad... and your support of a racist says more about you than you realise... who said I support Hilary? You made that assumption first. And yeah you are out here defending racism and sexism by answering my comment back without admitting this post is tacky, classless and supporting racism. That's your style along with name calling when that's all you can think of...'
Oh dear: Her followers dubbed the photo 'sickening' and and asked why she would want the name of a 'psychopath' to be emblazoned across the front of her child's clothes
Support: many fans supported the former Celebrity Big Brother star, insisting that it was 'just a bit of fun' and telling others to 'calm down'
'For a baby to be associated with somebody like Donald Trump, especially since he so openly dislikes anybody with disabilities or transgender, homosexual, black, latina and make derogatory comments about women. I can see why people think this is completely weird. Sticking a baby in a babygrow with DONALD Trump JR on the front is really poor taste or you are thicker than you look. Jesus Christ...'
'The only person who mentioned Hilary is you, you're clearly obsessed. And yes a baby grow supporting racism and sexism is actually very troubling. All people should be bothered by these issues yet people like you seem to think it's okay to use children to support racism. It's quite sickening,' another user added.
'You are defending Trump. I think you need to dig a little deeper. Why anybody would want their child to wear a babygrow with the name of a psychopath written on the front is baffling. Danielle Lloyd hasn't done herself any favours here... sexism and racism is always wrong. It's sad that at your age you haven't realised that. I have unfollowed, and if calling me thick is all you can think to say, then I feel quite sorry for you...
