Sir Sean Connery returns to spa with care assistant

On Tuesday night he enjoyed a rare evening at a public event - the US Open Tennis Championships where he saw Roger Federer beat American teen Frances Tiafoe.

And on Wednesday Sir Sean Connery was spotted visiting the same spa in New York City where he had spent some two hours the previous day.

The dapper 87-year-old, who stood ram-rod straight, was again accompanied by his care assistant who helped him walk from his car to the spa.

The Scottish actor, best known as the first James Bond in 1962's Dr. No, looked smart in a white shirt and blue pants, with a blue sweater tied around his neck and black shoes with red laces.

Proud of his heritage he also wore the distinctive green tartan flat cap he donned the day before.
