And already Disney is ramping up for what is expected to be the biggest box-office hit of the year.
On Thursday 20 new images from the sequel were released showing several of the cast members on set, including the late Carrie Fisher, who died in December 2016.

The actress played General Leia Organa, who was Princess Leia in the first set of movies which kicked off in 1977 with A New Hope.
It has been reported that Organa has a central role in the film after the murder of Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford, in 2015's The Force Awakens, though it has been claimed his ghostly figure will appear in The Last Jedi.
Also seen is Daisy Ridley who plays Rey; she is seen on Skellig Michael in Ireland with Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill.
