Jack Whitehall is almost unrecognisable on Good Omens set

He is a popular comedian known for his luscious locks and perfectly groomed beard.

But Jack Whitehall looked almost unrecognisable as he stepped out for filming of of his latest TV series Good Omens in North London on Sunday.

The star, 29, showcased a clean-shaven appearance and a pair of thick spectacles as he transformed into Witchfinder Private Newton Pulsifer for the upcoming series based on Terry Pratchett's acclaimed book.

Swapping his usually coiffed locks for a messier look, Jack also looked worlds away from his usually trendy style in a a mustard coloured tee, ill fitting navy shirt and short trousers, with which he sported odd socks.

Jack completed his look with a military style jacket which was covered in embroidered badges while also toting a tan satchel.

 He completed his look with a pair of tan boots.
