Her rocker style and passionate music has won her legions of fans over the years.

And Pink, 38, had a sweet surprise from one such fan when she visited the BBC Radio Two Studios in London to promote her new album Beautiful Trauma on Friday.

The star came across a woman who had a massive portrait tattoo on her arm, and the American songstress couldn't help but stop and take a selfie with the super fan.

The Missundaztood singer beamed as she met the fan, and the tattoo was such a detailed portrait that it looked almost the same as the rocker herself.

The tattoo also featured the words 'the passion + the pain are gonna keep us alive someday' underneath, which are lyrics from Pink's song The Great Escape.

Pink was so happy with the ink job that she later posted the picture on her personal Instagram, saying it was 'So Rad' in the caption.

She was laced up in a pair of white boots and was also decked out in loose-fitting trousers that featured a colourful graffiti-like print across both legs.

The ensemble was complete with a tight lace top which showed off her cleavage, as well as an over-sized green bomber jacket draped across her shoulders.

Her rose-coloured curls were also coiffed lusciously atop her head and also wore simple silver jewellery.

Pink kept her makeup to a minimum, opting for some mascara and just a slick of baby pink lipstick.

The 'What about us' singer's new album was released in October by RCA Records.
