Lindsey Vonn's had a pulse-racing month - on and off the slopes.
The 33-year-old Olympian dodged heartbreak on Wednesday as her dog Lucy narrowly avoided being struck by a moving car in Studio City, California, after the athlete wrapped up a trip to the gym.
The 5ft10 skier exited her car, at which point the dog got loose, and Lindsey was subsequently snapped grabbing her pooch out of the path of an oncoming Audi. Vonn was seen yelling at the dog in the wake of the scary incident.

She wore a coconut white sleeveless top over a cloud grey Under Armour workout outfit of a top and leggings, with a blue knee brace. She toted a water bottle, an iPhone and a blush pink leather purse.
The Minnesota native earlier took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon with a brief clip upon her return from the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
