And now almost two years on, Alex Nation has revealed the hardships she's faced after her stint on the reality TV show.
The mother-of-one, 26, took to Instagram on Friday to reveal that she was forced to return to full-time work and sacrifice time with her son Elijah, seven, after she couldn't make enough money from sponsored Instagram posts.

Alex shared a sweet black and white shot of herself with Elijah, before saying how she's trying to 'balance' everything.
'I usually love a challenge but lately this one has proven quite difficult,' Alex wrote.
'I've gone from spending almost all of my time with Elijah to working full time, getting home at seven just in time for bunk bed snuggles and doing readers.'
