Skye Wheatley represents herself in court to fights license suspension

She's best know for her starring turn on Big Brother and her racy snaps on social media. 

But Skye Wheatley is moonlighting as a legal eagle, defending herself in court as she fights a license suspension. 

First reported by The Gold Coast bulletin, the 24-year-old appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday as she attempted to regain her license.

The blonde appealed to the judge for a 'special hardship order' that would allow her to drive despite the suspension. 

Special consideration can be granted to those who must drive for reasons such as the need to get to work or undergo schooling.

However despite her best efforts the magistrate denied the petition and the reality star remains without the right to operate a car, the paper reports. 

Skye had her license suspected back in 2013 after being caught driving under the influence of alcohol, however it's unclear why the suspension is still in place.
