Viewers slam comedian Julia Morris' cringeworthy #MeToo tribute at the Logies

Julia Morris is known for her outlandish jokes.

But the 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here' appeared to really miss the mark when she performed a cringeworthy #MeToo tribute at the TV Week Logie Awards.  

The 50-year-old comedian fell flat when she broke out in a surprise musical number to the MC Hammer classic U Can't Touch This.

The act appeared to make light of the women's rights movement, which aims to stamp out sexual harassment in the workplace. 

Flagged by a number of scantily-dressed dancers, the TV funnywoman was dressed in a T-shirt emblazoned with a bikini.

'MeToo movement it's been huge,' she started, 'Everyone is talking about it.'

With the dancers falling in sync, the comedian continued dancing in a bizarre way.

'Let me give you the basics, here is drill No.1, can't touch this,' she sung, referencing inappropriate touching.
