Hair stylist horrified to find her arms and legs have been AMPUTATED

An Ohio woman is devastated after waking up from a 10-day coma to find her arms and legs amputated - and learning a lick from her dog almost killed her.

Marie Trainer, 54, a hair stylist from Alliance, Ohio, fell ill the day after coming back from a vacation in the Caribbean with her husband Matthew.

At first it seemed like the flu and backache, but it soon turned into sepsis and doctors found she tested positive for capnocytophaga, a bacteria that lives in dogs' and cats' saliva and can cause deadly infections in humans.

In all, Trainer was in Aultman Hospital for two-and-a-half months and endured eight surgeries as doctors fought to save her from the fast-moving bacteria - forcing them to sever her limbs.

When she woke, Trainer told KTLA, she was horrified.
