England captain Jordan Nobbs is out of the women's World Cup in June after undergoing surgery on a ruptured cruciate knee ligament.
The Arsenal midfielder sustained the injury in a game against Everton in November and needed to be treated with oxygen. She had the operation on her left knee on Monday, with the extent of the damage revealed by The FA on Friday.
