The American is the third Chelsea player in the top 10, which includes the £72.1million they paid for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the summer. Although he hasn't quite put in the performances fans would've hoped for, now that Jose Mourinho has departed, the Frenchman looks like he's starting to justify his price tag. Another Manchester United player is joint second on the list, and striker Romelu Lukaku is another who was expected to be performing better. They paid £75million for him in 2017. The £59.7million United paid for Angel Di Maria in 2014 also makes the list in the number six position. He left for PSG a year later for a fee thought to be around £44million. Liverpool have one player in the top 10, joint second with Lukaku, and it's arguably the best transfer on the list. Since joining for £75million in 2018, Virgil Van Dijk has seemingly transformed Liverpool's defense and turned them into real title contenders. Manchester City have two players in the top 10, and they're both fairly recent transfers. Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte both joined in 2018, for £60million and £57million respectively. Chelsea's Alvaro Morata comes in at number seven on the list, just above new signing Pulisic thanks to his £58million transfer fee. Rounding out the list at number 10 is Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is challenging Van Dijk for the top 10's best value signing. Since joining in 2018 he's scored 24 goals for the club. Pulisic will remain at Borussia Dortmund on loan until the summer. When he eventually plays in a Chelsea shirt, he'll be hoping to prove himself among the Premier League's other top signings.
