Cesc Fabregas appeared to begin saying farewell to the Chelsea supporters inside Stamford Bridge at the conclusion of his side's 0-0 draw with Southampton.  

The Spaniard lingered after the full time whistle and made a point of showing his appreciation to the crowd. 

Fabregas is likely to feature against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup game on Saturday, where he may play for the Blues for the final time.
