Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has sealed a £19million deal to sign Dominic Solanke on a permanent transfer from Liverpool.

Howe sees the 21-year-old striker as a replacement for Jermain Defoe who is bound for Rangers.

Solanke was on the brink of a move to Crystal Palace but the loan switch collapsed when interest from other clubs in a permanent transfer started to solidify.
