Jose Mourinho's former right-hand man Rui Faria is set to land his first managerial job since leaving his position at Manchester United last season to embark on a new career.

The 43-year-old is primed to take over Qatari champions Al Duhail Sports Club and has reportedly flown out to the Middle East for talks with the club.

According to The Sun, the Portuguese coach is on the verge of concluding the deal and could be named as their new boss over the coming days.
