Manchester United continued their resurgence under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as they beat Tottenham 1-0 on Sunday.

Marcus Rashford's goal just prior to half-time proved to be the difference between the two teams.

There were two particularly interested observers at the game, with Teddy Sheringham and Dimitar Berbatov having represented both clubs.

Sheringham had two spells at Tottenham either side of his illustrious stint at United, which was between 1997 and 2001. 

Berbatov, who is currently a free agent, played for Tottenham between 2006 and 2008 before joining United for £30.75million. 

Berbatov was sat next to his former Tottenham team-mate Ledley King.

NFL and Major League Baseball stars attend the game 

Sheringham and Berbatov weren't the only notable sports stars that watched the game, with NFL and Major League Baseball players also taking in the action at Wembley.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, who plays as a quarterback for NFL side Tampa Bay Buccaneers, enjoyed the game, as did baseball star Daniel Murphy, who plays for the Colorado Rockies.

Victor Lindelof makes his 50th appearance for United 

Victor Lindelof has had his ups and downs since joining United from Benfica in 2017, but the centre-back is impressing under Solskjaer.

The game against Tottenham was a significant occasion for Lindelof, who made his 50th appearance for United.

Lindelof will have been especially delighted that he marked the milestone with a clean sheet.
