Manchester United are unhappy that their ticket allocation for next week's FA Cup fourth-round clash with Arsenal at the Emirates has been almost halved.
United are said to be disappointed at the decision while supporters branded it 'a joke'.
Under competition rules, United should be given 15 per cent of the tickets for the game on Friday, January 25, which equates to 9,000 at Arsenal's 60,000-seater stadium.
Arsenal have reduced the number of tickets for Manchester United fans due to safety concerns
However, they will receive only 5,233 tickets after Arsenal reduced the allocation on the recommendation of their safety advisory group over concerns that away fans would stand in the upper tier.
United challenged the decision but it has been ratified by the FA, who granted Arsenal dispensation to cut the number of tickets available to their opponents.
