An immediate rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury was formally ordered by the World Boxing Council on Wednesday night.
The fighters' teams have now been told to arrange the fight and conclude a deal by February 5, or else it will go to purse bids with a split set at 60-40 in favour of Wilder, the WBC champion.
The development comes after more than a month of talks in the wake of their draw in Los Angeles in December.
