Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be back in first-team action this season.
The explosive midfielder has been out since April 2018 when he suffered ruptures to his cruciate, medial and lateral ligaments in his right knee during the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Roma. The injury was further complicated as he damaged tendons in his hamstring.
It had initially been indicated that Oxlade-Chamberlain would require 12 months on the sidelines to recover, with Klopp saying in July that this season was going to be 'all about recovery' for the England international.
