The 29-year-old was full of confidence going into the MGM Grand bout against Pacquiao, fighting for the first time at the age of 40, but Broner was outdone in almost every round. Pacquiao comfortably won the contest on the judges' scorecards but Broner, emotions still running high, insisted the result was false and that he was deemed to be the loser as the boxing world want Pacquaio to fight Floyd Mayweather. Adrien Broner insisted he deserved to beat Manny Pacquiao and the decision was wrong The American suffered a unanimous decision defeat to a 40-year-old Pacquiao on Saturday 'I beat him, everybody out there know I beat him!' Broner told Showtime. 'I controlled the fight, he was missing and I hit him clean more times. I beat him!' Clearly agitated with broadcaster Jim Gray, Broner, despite the boos growing louder and louder from the crowd, continued to explain his grievances before bizarrely offering up a fight with Gray. He was furious with Showtime interviewer Jim Gray and suggested they have their own fight Broner was subjected to a barrage of punches with few inside the MGM suggesting he had won 'It already sounds like you're against me,' Broner continued. 'I already ain't got a fair shake talking to you. 'But let me talk something, let you all know, I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I did this for the hood and you know I beat that boy. 'What they trying to do is they trying to get that money again with Pacquiao and Floyd (Mayweather). It's cool. I ain't worrying about it. I'm still on top, Cincinatti, west side! I'm 3-3-1 in my last seven but I'll be 7-0 against you!' His assertion that he landed more punches was quickly dismissed by Gray who swiftly pointed out that the American averaged less than eight punches a round over the 12-round contest. The American did not take kindly to talk he lost and said it was all conspired against him Pacquiao fought for the first time since turning 40 and was very impressive against Broner It remains unknown what the future holds for both fighters after the latest Vegas contest. Broner is without a win in his last three fights having lost to Mikey Garcia and drawn with Jessie Vargas before this latest defeat. For Pacquiao, all the talk now turns to whether he will coax Mayweather back to the ring for a re-run of their 2015 bout which remains one of the most lucrative in history.
