The Chelsea star has been linked with the reigning European champions for some time and does still want the big money transfer to happen at some point soon. But, according to Spanish newspaper Marca, he won't force the issue until the summer to avoid adding further disruption to Chelsea's season. Since the £100million departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus last summer, Real have lacked firepower with the likes of Gareth Bale, Isco and Marco Asensio unable to compensate. Hazard has rejected Chelsea's efforts to get him to commit to a new contract, with his existing deal due to expire in June 2020. The 28-year-old hasn't exactly downed tools, however, and has scored 12 goals and contributed 10 assists in all competitions this season.
