Jose Mourinho visited a stadium being built for the next World Cup and announced: 'It looks great but by the time 2022 comes round I'll be a club coach again and won't like my players going off mid-season'.

The former Manchester United and Chelsea manager was visiting Qatar which will be hosting the tournament in the middle of the winter to escape the searing summer temperatures.

The scheduling will mean the Premier League being suspended for more than four weeks during November and December.
