Kevin De Bruyne admitted battling back from his second knee injury this season proved mentally challenging and revealed the sizeable sacrifices he made as a teenager.
De Bruyne completed his first full 90 minutes of Manchester City's title defence during Sunday's 3-0 win at Huddersfield after troubling knee issues.
The 27-year-old found the rehabilitation from the second, when Fulham's Timothy Fosu-Mensah fell on him late on in a Carabao Cup fixture, particularly problematic.
