Jonathan Joseph was added to England's Six Nations squad on Tuesday night, as fears eased over Owen Farrell's fitness.
However there are still lingering concerns over flanker Brad Shields. The Wasps flanker missed the Leinster match with a side strain, and while he will travel to the Portugal training camp Sportsmail understands he is still touch-and-go for the Ireland match on February 2.
If Shields is not fit it would leave Mark Wilson, returning from a shoulder knock himself, as the only true option on the blindside flank, unless Eddie Jones moves Courtney Lawes or Maro Itoje to the back-row.

Farrell, 27, will appear as planned at the tournament launch event in London as England's captain on Wednesday morning alongside head coach Jones and
