Harry Winks has revealed Tottenham did not practise penalties ahead of their agonising shootout loss to Chelsea.
Spurs fell to yet another semi-final defeat on Thursday night; Eric Dier and Lucas Moura squandering the crucial penalties in their loss to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.
And Winks has admitted Spurs players didn't prepare for the prospect of a penalty shootout ahead of the defeat at Stamford Bridge.

When asked whether they practised penalties, Winks replied: 'No. We don't really work on penalties. It's like the manager said, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't.
'We beat Watford on penalties and never worked on them. Unfortunately on this occasion, it's football. It wasn't our night on penalties but that's the nature of the game.
'We are disappointed not to go to the final but the main outcome is that we are all very proud of ourselves.
'The way we fought, the way we came back from a 2-0 deficit to take it to penalties.
