Idrissa Gueye was left frustrated on Thursday night as Paris Saint-Germain failed to come to an agreement with Everton over his transfer to France.

The 29-year-old stayed away from training but failed to force through a move after Everton rejected a bid of £26.5million.

In other Goodison moves, winger Yannick Bolasie went on loan to Belgian club Anderlecht, while full back Cuco Martina was recalled from his loan at Stoke City and sent to Feyenoord, where his move will become permanent in the summer. Everton's 20-year-old midfielder Beni Baningime joined Wigan Athletic on loan.

Crystal Palace made a late move to sign Michy Batshuayi on loan after agreeing terms with Chelsea. On Thursday night both parties were hopeful of getting the deal over the line.

Spurs let Georges-Kevin Nkoudou leave for Monaco on loan while 20-year-old Kazaiah Sterling joined until the end of the season.
