Mauricio Pochettino has offered Vincent Janssen a Tottenham lifeline after the Dutch misfit failed to find a club before the transfer deadline.

Janssen arrived at Spurs from AZ Alkmaar for £15million in 2016 but failed to make any impact for Pochettino's team and was sent on loan last season to Fenerbahce in Turkey.

He returned with a foot problem which required surgery in the summer and ruled him out for the first half of the season but he is fit again, has played four times for the Under-23 team and spent January searching for a move.
