Stuart Broad insisted England retain hopes of victory in the pivotal second Test despite an agonising day in Antigua that has left them staring down the barrel.
Four dropped catches contributed to the frustrations as Joe Root's team failed to make the most of what remains a capricious pitch at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
West Indies, 1-0 up in the series, head into the third morning 85 runs ahead with four wickets intact as they push to reclaim the Wisden Trophy at the earliest opportunity.
