Lindsey Vonn appears to have escaped serious injury after a major crash in the super-G at the world championships on Tuesday, where she straddled a gate mid-air and ending up in the safety nets.
She posted a selfie on Instagram on Wednesday showing minor bruising on her face.
'The aftermath of our crashes from yesterday. Can’t wait to see what color they turn tomorrow!' Vonn wrote alongside the image, which also included a picture of the heavily bruised hip of team-mate Laurenne Ross.
