Sami Khedira has not travelled with the rest of the Juventus squad to Madrid after the discovery of an irregular heartbeat.
After training on Tuesday, tests showed that the German midfielder's heartbeat was not regular as he was diagnosed with atrial arrhythmia.
The Italian champions confirmed the news in a brief statement hours after training as the rest of the squad touched down ahead of their Champions League meeting with Atletico Madrid.
