Golfer Luke Donald has parted company with his six-bedroom Chicago mansion after selling the property for $3.9million (£2.986m).

Donald was forced to lower his price having originally listed it for $4.5m (£3.44m), before being purchased by an anonymous trust.  

The six-bedroom property was heavily renovated by Donald after buying it for $3.7m (£2.833m) in 2008.
