Manchester United's hopes of signing Kalidou Koulibaly have been boosted after the defender's agent appeared to rule out the chances of him moving to Juventus in the summer.
The Napoli centre-back is one of United's top targets as they look to strengthen their back line for next season.
Interim United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer assigned his top scout Jim Lawlor to watch the defender in last Saturday's 0-0 Serie A draw at Fiorentina and sources close to the club say he was impressed with what he saw.
