Inter Milan are 'preparing a new lucrative offer' in a bid to keep star striker Mauro Icardi at the club. 

The Argentine has been taken out of recent matches with so much doubt cast over his future at the San Siro.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A club are willing to offer a four-year deal worth €6.5milllion (£5.6m) a year plus bonuses.
