With the main trials are over and the Cheltenham Festival is now only two weeks away, eight-time champion jockey PETER SCUDAMORE picks his long range bets for the feature races.

CHAMPION HURDLE (Tuesday 12 March)
Not that long ago, it looked like a cakewalk for Nicky Henderson's dual winner Buveur D'Air but not anymore. He now has to face the full force of girl power!
Irish Champion Hurdle winner Apple's Jade, unbeaten Laurina and Christmas Hurdle winner Verdana Blue are all mares and receive a 7lb sex allowance.
They will present a stiffer test than Buveur D'Air has been set in his two previous wins and I like LAURINA, who is already a Festival winner.
She has had two easy races this season, most recent at Punchestown last Wednesday. The form is nothing special but she has a bit of the X-factor about her. At 7-2 with most bookmakers, she's the one for me.
