Vettel's lap of 1:16.221 was the fastest of the entire winter testing programme so far after going a hundredth quicker than team-mate Charles Leclerc who set the previous benchmark on Thursday. Having stayed clear of the headline times throughout the last two weeks, Mercedes finally showed their hand with Bottas setting the constructors champions' best lap of the winter so far. The Finn was just over three tenths shy of Vettel, hinting that Ferrari still have the edge over the Silver Arrows ahead of the upcoming season opener at the Australian Grand Prix. More to follow...
