Supporters had been furious with the lack of investment under the ownership of the Oyston family, and since relegation from the Premier League in 2011 the two parties have been involved in a long running feud. Chairman Owen Oyston was removed from the board on Monday, with Ben Hatton, Ian Currie and Tim Fielding, coming into the club in new roles. Blackpool fans ended their boycott as they queue outside Bloomfield Road for tickets Following the announcement, the League One outfit confirmed on their website that the bank account mandate had been changed, effectively ending supporters' 'stay away' protests. Blackpool's next home game is against Southend United on March 9, but fans have already been forming long queues outside the stadium looking to grab a ticket as soon as possible. The League One side have confirmed that nearly 5,200 tickets have been sold for the clash with the Essex outfit, which already would be their second biggest home attendance of the season. A club statement revealed they expected many more to be sold, reading: 'A huge demand is expected for tickets, so please bear with staff while they work through the queues and prepare to welcome everybody back to Bloomfield Road.
