Two goals from Robert Lewandowski helped Bayern Munich crush Borussia Monchengladbach 5-1 and put themselves firmly in the hunt for another Bundesliga title.
Bayern took full advantage of leaders Borussia Dortmund's shock 2-1 defeat to lowly Augsburg on Friday night to haul themselves level on points, with Lucien Favre's side just two goals better off.
Visiting Bayern produced a stunning start at the Westfalenstadion, taking a 2-0 lead after just 11 minutes courtesy of goals from Javi Martinez and Thomas Muller.
