Maurizio Sarri faces a battle to persuade Chelsea he has a long-term future at the club, despite giving his squad a greater say on tactics.

Sarri has relieved some of the pressure on his job thanks to back-to-back derby wins over Tottenham and Fulham, but his position remains in the balance.

Having previously indicated he was unwilling to adapt his Sarri-ball philosophy, the Italian has softened his stance in recent weeks.
