The Denmark international reversed roles in during a session and attempted to score, as opposed his usual role of keeping the ball out. Bearing down on the 'keeper after being played a pass, Schmeichel flicked up the ball before lobbing it up and over with the side of his heel to execute a quite remarkable finish. The 32-year-old could be seen sprinting away with his arms aloft after scoring the goal, before launching himself into a knee slide. Schmeichel will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways when they return to Premier League action this weekend against strugglers Fulham. Recent defeat to Watford - in what was Brendan Rodgers' first game as manager - put a dent in the momentum of the Foxes. On Monday the Dane was present at the funeral of goalkeeping legend Gordon Banks, who passed away in February following a long battle with illness.
