England manager Gareth Southgate says he was not surprised Marcus Rashford kept his nerve to score the crucial penalty in Manchester United's Champions League comeback win over Paris Saint-Germain.
Rashford scored from the spot in stoppage time to send United through, despite a long delay as the decision was given by VAR, and the pressure of putting his team into the quarter finals.
Southgate however said he never doubted Rashford's mental strength, saying he and his England coaching staff have always known the 21-year-old would be able to handle the pressure.
