Southampton have snapped up Yan Valery to a long-term deal, with the full back signing a new deal until 2023.
The French wing back, 20, has become an integral part of Ralph Hasenhuttl's squad since making his full debut in Mark Hughes' last match in charge, a 2-2 draw against Manchester United in December.
Valery signed from Rennes in 2015 and progressed through the club's academy. He has featured in all of Hasenhuttl's 14 games at the helm, and chipped in with two goals in his last two games - the latter coming in the vital win against Spurs last weekend.

Valery said: 'It's a big step. It proves the club believe in me, and I am really proud and happy to sign again for this club.
