Disgruntled Oldham fans are planning to protest against owner Abdallah Lemsagam in the wake of Paul Scholes's departure at Saturday's match with Tranmere Rovers.

Proposals have been drawn up which will see a march to Boundary Park along with disruption to the League Two clash followed by a mass walk-out and further protest outside the ground after the final whistle.

The event, named Stand up for Latics, comes amid serious concerns over the running of the club following Scholes's hasty exit.
