Zinedine Zidane got off to the perfect start on his return to the Real Madrid dugout as his side secured a 2-0 win over Celta Vigo.

The hosts could not find a breakthrough in the first half and after having a goal ruled out through VAR, Isco, who was recalled by Zidane for the clash, finally broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute.

Gareth Bale, who was also included in the starting line-up by the new boss, doubled Madrid's advantage 15 minutes later with a low right-footed shot.
