FIFA will make a decision on Chelsea's appeal before the summer transfer window opens and there would still be time for the club to seek an interim ruling at the Court of Arbitration for Sport if things do not go their way.
An initial appeal was denied by FIFA earlier this month which left Chelsea 'astonished' at what they felt were double standards in their treatment.
The club are continuing to take legal action against the two-window ban through the Court of Arbitration for Sport and would still have time to get an interim ruling if their latest appeal
