Antoine Griezmann made a documentary called 'The Decision' last summer to showcase his commitment to Atletico Madrid and his snub to Barcelona. Now he wants to make the sequel: The Rethink, but it's not going to be easy.
Barcelona felt publicly embarrassed last year when Griezmann turned them down. The Frenchman will turn 28 on Thursday.
The club now have their eyes on 21-year-old Luka Jovic and short of him going very public on wanting to move to the Camp Nou, and accepting a cut on his €25m net a season pay, it will be hard for him to turn things around.

Well-informed Catalan radio RAC1 reported this week that representatives from Barcelona met with the Serbian striker's representatives and the player has been identified as the best long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
When Griezmann's 'The Decision' documentary went viral one of the things that stood out was his girlfriend's insistence that by staying at Atletico he would be the star while moving to Barcelona he would merely end up as just another player making up the numbers.
Too often this season, despite staying away from the shadow of Lionel Messi, he has still ended up as exactly that: just another player.
Far from building a team around him, Diego Simeone still has Griezmann as another cog in the Atletico machine. He has played games as the furthest forward player with no centre-forward to play off of. Or he has played deeper but with too much off the ball work to do to ever dedicate himself solely to breaking down
