Paul Pogba has fuelled speculation he could still leave Manchester United for Spain after admitting that joining Real Madrid would be ‘a dream’.
Pogba was strongly linked with a move to Barcelona last summer after his agent Mino Raiola agreed a five-year contract with the La Liga club worth £89.5million.
The 26-year-old midfielder is believed to have told Old Trafford chief Ed Woodward of his desire to leave, but United refused to consider selling Pogba just two years after re-signing him from Juventus for a club record fee.

The Frenchman’s fallout with manager Jose Mourinho cast further doubt over his future at the club before the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer led to a dramatic upturn in Pogba’s form.
However, he admitted to being tempted by the prospect of joining Madrid who have just reappointed his French compatriot Zinedine Zidane as head coach.
‘Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world,’ said Pogba, speaking before France’s Euro 2020 qualifiers against Moldova and Iceland.
